Focus Wander ("the App") is operated by an independent developer. We value your privacy. This policy explains what data the App processes, why it processes it, where it is stored, and how you can manage it.

At a glance

• Exploration and private focus records are not uploaded; when you are signed in and Focus Map is enabled, Supabase processes and publishes the precise position, outcome, and timestamps from a completed general focus for seven days. If you choose to join the world leaderboard, Supabase processes your display name together with the public username and weekly focus-minute/rank data shown in the join preview. The leaderboard renders only the display name; username remains an account, report, and block identifier.
• To keep device time from refreshing daily gem chests, the App requests a public UTC cycle from Supabase. This request contains no location, route, chest-claim, or private-economy data.
• Exploration and focus records are stored on your device by default. When you are signed in to iCloud, they may sync to your private iCloud storage.
• Signing in with Apple means you agree that general focus sessions completed while signed in publish the precise Focus Partner position at resolution; sessions completed while signed out stay local and are never backfilled later.
• We do not sell data and do not track you for advertising. The App collects product-usage data through Amplitude (before sign-in it uses an anonymous device identifier; after sign-in it links through the Supabase UUID, for example departure, arrival, and paywall views) to help us improve the experience; this collection is on by default and has no user-facing toggle. We do not record your screen or interactions.
• You can delete all App data at any time in Settings. If you have a world account, the App deletes it remotely first and clears local data only after that succeeds.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Focus Wander iOS app and its Widget and Live Activity extensions. If you contact us by email, we use only the contact information you voluntarily provide to reply to you.

2. Data We Process

2.1 Location Information (with your permission)

• What: Your device's precise or approximate geographic location (latitude and longitude).
• How we obtain it: Through iOS Location Services only when you allow location access while using the App.
